Our Story

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.  psalm 63:3(NIV-UK)

George Muller

Ever since Sharon became a Christian in July
2003, she has had a vision to set up a
ministry which would use Christian
principles, combined with secular therapies,
to help heal broken people from traumatic
backgrounds. In 2009 during a period of
illness she felt God talking to her (not in a big
loud voice although she says she is open to God
speaking in that way too!!) She felt Him say,
"I want you to do what George Muller did,
in Northern Ireland." George Muller set up
Christian-run orphanages in 1805 totally
funded by prayer.

Aimee's Hope is born

In February 2014 the first ever meeting took place to plan what has become Aimee's Hope. "Aimee" means "beloved" and the young people we seek to help need to know they are loved above all else. God is love. He is the source of perfect love and it is from this source that we can provide a love that can heal the broken-hearted and give them hope for the future.

A home to beloved

We opened our first home in February 2016 in Donaghadee, Northern Ireland. We are now are based in a bigger house in Millisle.
