The founder, Sharon Bentham, has worked as an Occupational Therapist in mental health since 1999. Her passion has always been to work with young people and to get to the root cause of mental illness as early as possible. For the majority of people with long term mental illness this can be traced back to a childhood trauma. In her work she saw some people move on but she also saw many who remained in bondage. She believed that outcomes for these people could be improved and full healing should be possible. This belief grew when she became a Christian in 2003 and has been the fuel behind this ministry.
